Helen Rose - "An old age pensioner at 18"

Helen Rose - "An old age pensioner at 18"

Introduction

Helen Rose's book is one of those "Must reads" for all Parkinsonians. I've heard nothing but praise for it from the many people I've recommended it to. Written in 1990 it describes the extraordinary experiences of a person diagnosed the PD at the early age of 18.

Since this book was written, many advances have been made in the treatement of Parkinson's Disease. However, Helen's attitude to the disease transcends these medical advances.

If you would like to contact Helen, please address any communications c/o Simon Coles, New Information Paradigms, Manhattan House, 140 High Street, Crowthorne, Berkshire, RG45 7AY, UK. You can also email me.

You can get paper copies of this book from the Parkinson's Disease Society in the UK, price £3. or from Sharward Services
